First of all how do you use Desktop themes normally once loaded on to windows they used to be in loaded into the Background lists but this time it didn`t load so how do you go about using them.
Next question is what is NDISWAN.VXD file I have it on my computer but a friend of mine needed it so I put it on an a disk and E mailed it to him he than put it in windows application s and now his computer starts up without the message. Is this file necessary and what for also if it isn`t how can I get rid of it because since I sent it out I seem to have the same problem with my computer not starting up it is saying the file cannot be found but it is on their I have checked actually it is an application.
    I have it in windows:\A
    Thanks in advance

This file is required by is networking and Dial Up networking. It will complain even if you do not need it. I would get both the .vxd and the .sys

Many places to get it here is one:

    http://computer-help.com/dc2.htm

the ndiswan.vxd and ndiswan.sys both should be in the \windows\system a second copy of the .sys file is always in the \windows folder.

Next time give a copy not the original.
