I'm a person that has used Outlook Express for years and it worked fine. I have been forced into win8.1 and have difficulty using the email program.
I cannot locate sent emails. I cannot shrink it's window...it takes over the whole screen.
Whatever happened to 'if it ain't broke don't fix it.
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks,
    Lewis

Try going to the top of WLM and drag it left or right. Then maybe you can shrink it down by catching the side of the window and dragging it smaller. I have used both versions of WLM and have never had a problem. There is a Sent folder just like OE had and it does put what you have sent into it. What version of WLM are you using?

    Hi Mr Bill,
I am using the mail program that came with Win 8 on my new laptop. What is WLM?
I have tried your suggestions and they won't work.

Didn't know that Win 8 came with a mail program. I had to download one. WLM is Windows Live Mail from M$. That is what I use.

Must be Outlook.com which is the old Hotmail. Can't tell you how to fix something if we don't know what it is for sure.

Yea, you are referring to the mail app.

It does normally offer a view of "Sent" items. By default it'll only show items from the last 2 weeks. There's an arrow pointing left at the top of your Inbox, if you click that you'll get a list of other mail folders to select & view.

    HI,
Checking it is the mail app that comes with Win 8. I want to try and get rid of it and get the WLM same as Win 7. Is that possible?

It is always best to go to the software maker to do your downloads. In this case it is Microsoft. This way you usually don't get any 3rd party **** downloaded and snuck in with it.

    Windows Essentials

There are some other things with it that you may enjoy. You don't have to take everything.
