    im sry this was mainly a rant, i have been trying to find out what kind of hardware is required to get 7.9 across the board.

    It's probably possible if you have a budget the size of NASA's :)

    I wouldn't worry about keeping up with the Jones' braindead, your PC would be redundant before you even manage to put it together.

    This thread is probably best in general discussions though.

    no the idea is: if on the day i install the OS my hardware isnt top shape then it means my PC wont last too long.

    braindead, have a look at my specs, this system suits me just fine and I've no intentions of buying until this changes.

    Change your computer to suit your needs, don't change your needs to suit the computer...

    Who's in charge?

    i understand that, i just link its "starting performance" to its life span, i though i did a good job with this one, the performance index surprised me, but i guess ill just have to wait and see.

    i suppose i can mark this as resolved.
