Win 2k login screen problem

Hello all,

One of my users installed some warez on his PC and now when any local user tries to login they are able to type their username and password but when they hit enter the PC pauses for about 3-4 seconds then it takes then right back to the "Press ctrl-alt-delete to login" screen. Anyone have any ideas? I can get into the box with safe mode and I have made sure there isnt anything in the startup folders. I have also scanned the registry for logout/logoff and checked the run, runonce and startup areas. I have run out of ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you uninstalled the software you mentioned yet?
What about checking the application log?
