    Hi all,

i'm getting crazy to solve this problem....

sometimes (one time a week almost) my server crashes in the night when doing backup on scsi tape (connected to a different, adaptect a29320lp-r scsi controller, discs are on scsi embedded controller)

please help, this problem started 2 month ago, and i tried everything to solve it!
I have the full memory dump please see bugcheck above,

    regards,
    Fabrizio

Is you backup software doing a virus scan as it backs up? If so try turning off that option. Your anti-virus software should be protecting the files on the server as it is used, so scanning again during backup just adds load to the backup job. I've seen turning off the backup virus scan improve backup reliability on a number of systems.
