Can anyone suggest any decent tutorials on Win 2000 Server Sharing and security permissions.

Whats the score with permissions, auditing, ownership as well as security permissions and sharing permissions.

See,I have a share on a server and I can't make any changes to it over the network even when logged in as domain admin.

Although when logged directly into the server as domain admin its fine.

Please help, just a point in the right direction

    Cheers Ears.

Use termserv to connect. You can do what you need then.

I'm assuming you were trying from a mapped share and there are lots of things that cannot be done that way.
