    Hello,

The company I work for has just agreed to pay for me to go on a course on win 2000 server.

I've been working with 2000 server for about 3-4 months.I only know the very basics, how to manage users, shares, printers and set priveleges in the active directory.

I've got about £1000 to spand to so an mcse is out i think,I've been looking for a cheap intensive course but there are so many.

I don't really care about getting a certificate I'm more concerned with getting the most knowledge out of the course.
So can anyone recommenr any decent short, intense courses for beginners in the UK.

Also any decent books on 2000 server,I've often bought books in the past which whilst easy to pickup at first don't go into enough depth.

    Thanks very much.

If you're like me, an unemployed american, you'd find what you need at the largest public library in your area... highly underestimated. Saves you loads of money and is only as intensive as you make it.
I only mention it because in my town; any bloke with a utility bill can borrow the Win2000 Server book.
