Has anybody running Win. 11 installed MBAM and did it cause any problems? Google shows a few post on it and some said it slowed their PC's down to about a crawl. Couple said no problems.

I also am running both (along with Defender) with no problems. In fact, the computer seems to be more responsive since upgrading from W10 to W11.

We really must be careful about what we read on the Internet. There are 10s of millions running W11 and many of those also use Malwarebytes. A "few posts" via Google is not indicative of a problem. I have no doubts if you search for "[fillintheblank] and Windows 11", you can find a few posts where people report problems.

Search on "Windows 10 and Malwarebytes" and you will find millions of posts reporting problems.

Been running MBAM on the dedicated "Insider" comp for a number of years -- no problem
My HP laptop and one Desktop were running MBAM when the upgrade to W11 occurred -- no problems.
There will always be "some" users who obviously have something incompatible in their computer which causes hiccups when upgrades take place.
Like Bill says, there will always be journos who jump on the chance to exploit it as news.

Wow - that sure is the truth. I rank journalists right up there with shysters (which includes most politicians), big pharma, and insurance companies.

I mean look at this from ZDNet: Windows 10 is a security disaster waiting to happen. How will Microsoft clean up its mess? | ZDNet

The headline would have you believe this disaster is imminent. But the reality is, it is 4 years down the road - and even then, will it be the disaster they hype about? They don't know. For all we know, it may be the horrific, catastrophic event Y2K ended up being.

I ran MBAM on Win 10 yesterday and was shown a rather large message about how MBAM works fine with Win 11.
