I have upgraded a computer for a friend from Win 7 Pro to 10 Pro. All went well and I have tried to make a Repair Disk. 3 times it failed with varying errors. Reading those error code discussions points to things like making sure the burner works, etc. (0xC0AA0301 and 0x007045D) I burned a disk using iTunes so apparently the dvdrw works.

Hi JAK. IMO forget about making a system repair disk. Just download the Windows 10 ISO and create a new Windows 10 DVD from scratch.

Forgot about the Media Creation Tool to make an ISO. Thanks!
