    Hi guys

With v1809 I hope things improved but i hesitate to move.

When i updated from v1709 to v1803, whenever it restart, it keeps spinning with a TOTALLY black screen (no mouse, no anything). I have to restart a number of times with power switch to get to Safe mode.

At the normal mode after restart from Safe mode, the screen after an hour flickers, then even turn completely black. If i press Ctrl-Alt-Del, i can log off to log in again. But after a while the same thing happened.

HOWEVER in Safe mode, no flicker, screen very stable.

Any suggestion what best to do!

As the screen is stable in Safe Mode using the Windows basic driver the issue probably lies with your graphics card driver - try updating it or uninstalling and reinstalling a fresh copy.

I think the problem is just my OLD laptop gets to a black screen and can't wake up when i use the keyboard to turn down the brightness to zero. It still happen in v1809 so i can only blame it on my old Vista horse.
