I keep getting the notification to install a Win XP Service Pack 3 Update to my Win 10 Home.
I keep ignoring it, but it keeps coming back.
When I look for archived messages, nothing is there.
A Widows problem check is clean.

    Is this update for real?

Hi JGB. Can you post a screenshot of the update that wants to install so I can see what is going on? Thanks.

Next time it appears I sure will.
Any ideas how to see if it is in my pending updates? Can't seem to make that come up.

Try checking for updates again manually and see if it shows up in the list of updates that Windows 10 wants you to install.

When I woke the PC this am, the usual notifications came up. I took 3 (partial) screen grabs
1 - Initial notification (lower right of screen)
2 - Update info; I did NOT go "next" to install. I will await validation.
3 - Recent update history (FYI)

This PC was originally Win XP Pro SP-3, then upgraded to Win 7 Home, and now Win 10 Home (32 bit... long story)
    Hope this helps.

I have legal Office 2013 installed.
That was a replacement to the old Office XP.

Should I install it or not??

And even I did not notice it said "Office"!!!!!

It looks like you still have Microsoft Office XP installed. If you have Office 2013, there is no reason that you should be getting updates for Office XP anymore especially since that version of Office is from 2002. I would go to Control Panel< Uninstall a program and remove any entries for Microsoft Office XP from your machine which should then make that update notification go away.

Well, I did try to install the Office XP update and it failed to complete the download and install twice.
I was going to post the result here when I saw Evan's note to uninstall Office XP.
I checked and yup! there it was. Never noticed it before. So I uninstalled Office XP and hopefully that notification will go away.
Solved!! Thanks for all the help.
