I have a domain network consisting of three 2012R2 and three clients running Win 10 Pro or Enterprise. Two clients (and all servers) have a static IP, and the clients (only) always end up falling back to a public network profile. The one DHCP client has never had an issue. I have done all I know to do, including regedit and change the profile(s) value to "2 ", I've deleted profiles that had a value of "0" and/or "1 ", I've deleted all profiles and force Windows to create a new. I've deleted the NICs and re-config. Still this is an issue. My NIC settings, in the Advanced, have my domain in the DNS suffix, register connection in DNS, etc. The two machines that are having this issue are both static and they both have Hyper-V installed so my NICs are vEthernet (as you know). Not sure if the vNIC has anything to do w/ this or not. Either way, this petty, stupid issue is like a needle in my eye and I gotta get it right. Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks
    Ron
