    Need some hardware guidance ...

HD I would like to buy from Newegg. Final cost delivered = $143.00
Western Digital Caviar SE WD3200JD 320GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache Serial ATA150 Hard

Install in the following MOBO ....
    Syntax SV266AD Motherboard

Assuming MOBO is not SATA, is their a PCI/SATA controller to manage drive?
    If yes .. recommendations.
Usage for Drive ... Partition for Image backup storage. Also would like to backup network attached w98/pc with 6GB drive. Can it maintain a network link while creating image file and send it to this drive?
Another reason I would like to buy SATA .. It would be better technology to move into next new computer (about 2 years). Also if I need to up-size PS, not a total loss. Current fan on PS is starting to make noise on first 30 seconds of start of day powerup.

    Thanks guys
See they bumped the HD price $5.00 plus added freight.
Million hits on Google, nothing like a few choices to confuse the feeble. :D
