Will Office 98/2000 upgrade work on XP

    Will Office 98 and 2000 upgrade work on/with this XP system???

    It should. MS Office 97 works just fine with XP, provided all the updates were downloaded.

    I assume you mean XP updates!!!!

    There are lots of updates for Office 97 components too !
    I have no problems using O'97 & XP.

    I think RayH is referring specifically to Office Updates - XP updates should be installed as a matter of course, regardless of whether or not you use Office :)

    Office ~97~/2000update work on XP

    First,thanks to all.
    secondly, i realized after a while it was Office 97, not 98

    MS Office 97 Pro's Access will not function under Windows XP unless the MS Office 97 Service Packs are installed. Once installed, it works just fine.
