Will Intel HD Graphics certainly support UEFI?

I use Pentium G3240, which includes Intel HD Graphics, which supports UEFI.
I intend to switch from BIOS to UEFI next month when I clean install Redstone 2.
In the future, if I buy a new Intel CPU, the iGPU will certainly also support UEFI.
    Is that right?

Hi Mathew. It does not matter what CPU you have but the motherboard is what you need to focus on.

Your motherboard already includes UEFI functionality so upgrading to a better CPU in that motherboard would not take that functionality away.

Do you know what CPU you would be upgrading to?

It is safe to say if you buy a CPU supported by that motherboard, and that motherboard uses UEFI, then support will not be a problem. Just make sure you buy a CPU listed on the motherboards QVL (qualified vendors list) found on the motherboard's webpage.

If they are on your motherboard's CPU support list, they are okay.

This quote is from the Specification of your board. Your current CPU is shown in the "Pentium" section of your link.
