wierd c++ errors and stuff

    i have a fairly old computer and i just got windows xp home and installed it on there and it has all sorts of wierd conflicts some of my old programs. stuff like "c++ fatal error" and "visual basic error" and i dont know why this is happening because i have two other computers running windows xp home and they have no errors running these programs at all.
