Why both: AD-AWARE and Spybot S&D?

    I have both AD-AWARE and Spybot S&D installed. They both seem to do the same thing. Is it necessary to run both back to back or is it just as safe to run one of them, and which one?

    I also use both. I like the Spybot immunize feature and a few other goodies so will stick with it. Ad-aware is now being updated more often and seems to find bad stuff that Spybot misses. Not much but some so I'll keep using it too.

    Neither one seems to get it all.

    I have run Adaware and then Spybot.

    At other times I run Spybot then Adaware.

    Both ways the 2nd seemed to alwasy picked up something the 1st missed.
