Who Runs Which MS OS Here?

I am curious re what percentage of members here run which version of Windows.. How would one go about making a poll thread?

Search the word Poll & you should find it on the 2nd page of results, it is a bit dated as it only runs up to Vista.
What I would like to know is how many members now use Vista over Win7 (mostly due to the cost),
I ended up with 2 versions of Vista & the lesser of Win7 than I wanted myself, but I think that is a bonus

Even before I tested Vista in Beta long ago, cause I was getting flack for dissing it before the fact....I knew open and shut I would rather eat ground glass than go there. I have two friends, John and Joy, with no real interest in the computers they use evey day, every hour who, without asking question one, bought new systems loaded with VISTA.

Too bad it didn't come with coupons for meds.

If that's it, not what I had in mind. Without loading the question with any given MS OS, I just wanna know on percentage basis who is running what right now....not what their plans are.

But that poll is also interesting. Cept for the fact that plans are works in progress and metamorphose for many reasons ongoing.

 

I was using XP until Win7 beta came out and now mostly use win7, on the laptop, and the 2? versions of vista (haven't found much difference yet) on the 2 desktops, both are mostly gp units for entertaining visitors, one in the shed out by the pool & the other in the lounge for the kids when they are home on holidays, like they are at the moment as they don't all have laptops

Sounds like Livin Large to me! It's incredible to me, for how many seven year olds, MAC Books appear to be requisite. Or secondarily, warpspeed lappys running Windows. Lappys, we all get it, they are necessary....but common. Whole new category of Bling.

And in this economy! OMG.
