Which Laptop would be best?

Husband is considering one of these laptops. Does anyone have either one? Which one would you recommend? He uses it to read emails,
browses websites and plays some cards. One is the Sony with Intel core 2 duo processor model VGN-FW255J/H has 4 GB memory and 250 GB hard drive. The other is the Gateway Intel 2 core processor model MC7801U and has the same memory and slightly less hard drive. The hard drive difference is not an issue.

 

For your Husbands requirements either would do (and many others), right now I'm using a 256Mb, 30Gb HD with PIII 1.133GHz processor and even that would easily handle what you want.

Both Sony and Gateway are decent brands so I'd say the decision would depend on price, but be sure that the limited requirements you listed is all that you want.
