Which box would be better to have as admin. ?

    I'm soon going to have a Linux box I put together. Anyway. Which box would be better to be the admin., the Linux, or Win2k box? Both would be shut down rarely. Or does it really matter? And sooner or later, I'll be back again asking if anyone knows how to set that up on a Linux box ;)

    Well - FWIW, 2K will run a long time without needing to be rebooted.

    But the various Nix flavors (including Linux) pretty much need to be booted whenever you shut them down to add or repair/replace hardware or if you turn em off to physically move them somewhere.
