Where is history stored?

    Last weekend we had our nephew visit. He's in college and asked to use the computer while we went out shopping. We just got an e-mail from an adult site thanking us for visiting and since we were a previous credit card customer offering us some special deal to download more stuff. The problem is we never went to any site like that.
    We always clean our history, cookies and files about once a week using the tools, internet options feature so we have no easy way to go back and check if our nephew visited that or other similar sites. Is there a place we can access on the computer that still maintains a list of visited sites or downloaded videos?

    Look in DRIVE\Documents & Settings\User name\Local Settings

    If browsing files have been deleted then look in DRIVE\Documents & Settings\User name\Recent to see what files have been opened.
