When I used Eudora, I could see all attachments in the \Eudora\Attach folder.
I could see the embedded photos in the \Eudora\Embed folder.

What is the equivalent in Firefox?

As far as I know, Firefox does not store attachments. Thunderbird email client does. Eudora is an email client. Did you mean to say "Thunderbird" instead of Firefox? Thunderbird stores attachments within each message that contains one.
