Using "Search" and the word "Cookies" does not produce what used to be the Windows file called Cookies. Where has it gone? Does it now have another name?

    I'm confused.

    C:\Users\Your User Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies

Enable 'Show hidden files & folders' under Tools > Folder Options > View

    Thanks PeteC,
It wasn't there but having unticked "Hide Protected Operating System Files" in Tools\Folder Options\View, I then found it in C\Windows\Temp but you put me on the right track

    A couple more points:
I originally posted this in Windows 7 but notice that in that forum it now has "Moved" against it but there is no link to tell you to where it's been moved to.
Also, how do I notify that the problem is "Resolved" or do you do that?

Click on the link anyway and you'll be redirected to the thread, then all you simply have to do is look at the top of the page.

Please mark your thread as 'Resolved'.

Should be in the location I posted as well - see screenshot of a search (not Win 7 search) on my PC .....

I did not move your thread, but clicking on the link in New Posts would have got you there - generally a redirect is included. However, when you read this you will see that it is in the IE forum.

Please mark your thread as 'Resolved'.
