    gobears20--Just to clarify, you can download Outlook Express6 only as part of a download of Internet Explorer6.0.

    Outlook Express is a component of Internet Explorer. As such you need to download IE, which in turn will install the newest version of OE. The following link will allow you to download IE6;

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.asp

    The following are the minimum requirements need to be able to run IE6 on a Win98 System;

    Computer/Processor Computer with a 486/66-megahertz (MHz) processor or higher (Pentium processor recommended)

    Operating System Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 6a (SP6a) and higher, or Windows 2000
    Memory For Internet Explorer 6:

    RAM requirements depend on the operating system used

    Windows 98:
    16 MB of RAM minimum
    Full install size: 11.5 MB

    Windows 98 Second Edition:
    16 MB of RAM minimum
    Full install size: 12.4 MB

    Hope this helps. :)

    The following is found in the Outlook Express Help File;

    "Outlook Express uses the spelling checker provided with the following Microsoft Office programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. If you do not have one of these programs installed, the Spelling command is not available. "

    If you do have one the above programs installed you can set OE to automatically check your spelling before sending. To do this;

    Open Outlook Express
    Click on the Tools Menu, Select Options.
    Click on the Spelling Tab, make sure that Always Check Spelling Before Sending, and Suggest Replacements for Misspelled Words are selected.

    Hope this helps. :)

    Thanks Rod. When I installed Office 97, I only installed Excel and Word because that is the only things I use. I bet I missed an option.;)

    Thanks:)
