where can I buy Word 2007 online?

Someone gave me a site and I forgot it, it had it for 149 for 3 puters. I need it for myself and daughter for school work. Anyone know what site it could be? Also is buying it online rather that at a store ok? What should I be careful of? Can I use it 3 puter that way? TIA

You can get a little discount if you purchase via an education discount / site. Best I've found is $139.85 for Microsoft Home and Student 2007. Not sure if you must register license under student's name or the purchaser? If interested, can refer you to trusted site.

 

If you want both, need to purchase both.
If download is local install, just save and burn install program to CD. This approach would allow a fresh install, may NOT allow a local repair?? If download is a web install, you would not have ability to re-install locally. Would need to check with MS for re-download allowances.

I checked Education discount site. They do not offer a download option. Purchase is for CD install. $139.85 plus shipping.

 

Thanks for the offer! I see it at bestbuy on sale for 140, if I go to the store may be the cheapest with no shipping. Then I have the cd too, assuming that is the 3 installs. Plus I have rewards to use so another 15 off I think. Sound like a good plan?

If you can tie in Rewards discount, will be even better.
Customer reviews on BB site seem to support 3x license feature, but best to ask/confirm before purchasing.
My closest BB is a 120 mile round trip drive, so for this item the $4.00 freight is cheap.

 

LOL since I have a teen AND since Bestbuy is in all our malls, a visit there this weekend is a breeze.
