Hello everyone, I've met some problems with a program I am working on now. I need to find some history running information about the network adapter so that I can get some information if the pc was once on the internet. I can find some log in windows evt manager though I am not familiar with the windows log system:(, but is there any other mechanism windows will create new logs?

Will windows record some using information of the user in some logs?
Or will the network card(or other device and applications) create its own log? Where can I find them?

    thanks very much.

    Why?

Yes, there are lots of logs for most programs.

Do searches for .log files. The internet won't have a log. Whatever program is accessing it might.

It may depend on how the internet was accessed.

This may be a question for system administration, not a general Vista question.
