Where are Oulook Express files stored?

    I am trying to reload win2K but need to back up my mail. I only have access to dos. Can someone direct me to the *.dbx files?

    The files are under:

    C:\Documents_and_Settings\USERNAME\Local_Settings\Application_Data\Identities\LONG_IDENTIFIER\Microsoft\Outlook_Express


    The underscores "_" are used to show blank spaces.

    I would recommend moving this Outlook Express folder under your new My Documents folder, then going into Outlook Express tools and point to this folder for your new store.

    Makes backing up easier!!

    Goto tools/options/maintenance/store and chg the path to where ever yu want them to go.
