Hi ... I'm curious when Vista loads and you see that process bar moving does the background look just black or should there be the Vista logo to appear while its loading ? I know when XP would load I would see the XP logo while its doing its process bar scan .

The Vista logo shows at the end of the loading process just before Vista switches to the desktop.

If you wanna see what's going on 'behind the scenes':

    • Type msconfig in the Start Search box and hit [Enter]
    • Select the Boot tab
    • Check OS boot information
    • Click OK

Hi Arie, Thanks for responding . I was just wondering if that was normal or not , so I assume it is to see just the process bar only with a black background then ? Thanks
