When switching identities OE 6 locks up

    When switching identites (e-mail accounts) Outlook Express 6, the OE program closes, but doesn't reopen for my other account.
    So it locks up by not Reopening... This happens 40 % of the time.
    I must reboot to get OE going again. Silly thing, when OE reopens, it opens my new identity, just like I told it to do.
    This is OE 6 running on a Gateway laptop with Win XP.

    Delete all unwanted mail and compress all folders prior to switching identies. Also, disable auto compressing of folders on exit and deleting mail on exit. OE may be trying to perform thos tasks and switch identies at the same time.

    Better yet, use a top notch free email client like Calypso, available free here at win-help's rose city software!
