When I copy a message from OE 6 to a Word file, a carraige return is put at the end of each line. I want to remove those carraige returns but preserve paragraph breaks. In order to preserve paragraph breaks, I know that I can search/replace for two carriage returns first, then replace any that are left, then put the paragraph breaks back in. But is there an easier way? I often copy OE messages to save them, and it gets time consuming to do this for every one.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

i "m using Outlook Express 6 on Windows XP Professional SP2.

I know this question has been answered often, but I can't find the answer.

    Thanks !!

Far simpler method than that which you are doing in Word ....

Create a folder on your hard drive - Saved Emails or similar

    Drag the emails to it

Double click on an email to open in OE

Use a search engine to search for specific text - even part of an email address within that folder to locate specific emails.
