Work gave us new computers. They let us keep our old monitors so we can have two monitors. I know it will be forever for them to come back with the hook ups for it so I wanted to ask you guys if it is a cheap enough thing for me to get what I need.

Still Windows XP Pro. PC is a Dell Optiplex 960.
new monitor is HP Compaq LA1951g. I see a plug and play Monitor on Intel(R) Series internal Chipset under display properties. Display devices says Intel Graphic Media Accelerator Drive. Operating mode set to single, primary device monitor.
old monitor is a Dell model 1707FPc

Do you need any other info?

I just need to know how to get my old monitor hooked up so I have two monitors working. I assume I need a cord of some type.

I have been seeing this since this new computer was set up. It is the monitor status. It pops up whenever I turn the monitor off and on. It shows:
    DVI no signal
    VGA active
    Auto-switch on
    Default source DVI

Both monitors have the same connectors. I dont see two of the same ports on the PC. SO is this when I need a external usb video card?

Does the new video card have two ports or one? Have a feeling it has two or your guys wouldn't have left the monitors... You might need to get a five dollar adaptor for one of the monitors.
