I had a problem with various systems (ie Network, Printer, Vipre) and then I discovered that most of the Administrative Tools > Services had swithed to "Disable ".

I ran chkdsk /r, Vipre anti virus and Malwarebytes but saw no problems.
I'm getting a tech to reset all Services but ....

What could cause such a drastic thing to happen?

    You're probably right.
I previously made a clone of my original comp to make the current one last week where the identical Services are working fine.

I notice that Services has an Export function.

Is there any way to just copy/restore the original Services list to fix the clone?

    Pete,

    Never mind.

Some one mention to do a restore before the problem started but as soon as I checked the box, I decided to do a clean boot first.

Lo and behold when I went to look at the Services they all looked OK. I'm guessing that just checking the Restore box, forced it to reset the services to continue the restore???

Thanks for the help and have a great New Years,

    Rob
