What version of Mozilla is Netscape 7.02 based on?

    What Mozilla version is Netscape 7.02 based on? I want to say 1.0.2 but I'm not sure. The reason is that I have found this web browser based on that mozilla engine and I wanted to see how current it was. The web browser is at: http://www.beonex.com/communicator/

    Hi Kevin,

    You are correct, Netscape is based on the Mozilla, Version 1.0.2. You can always check this out by clicking on the Help tab, "About Netscape ".
    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0.2) Gecko/20030208 Netscape/7.02

    The most current Mozilla is Version 1.4a.
