What version of Java Runtime ?

    A couple of weeks ago I downloaded & installed Sun Java Runtime Environment 7.0.0.147. Both the older Java 6 & the newer Java 7 are coexisiting on the computer.

    Now today there is a new version of Java 6, which means that Oracle is supporting both the versions.

    Do I need both the versions or can I just install Java 6 ?

    I'm thinking you don't need both. I only have version 6 update 26 on mine and run everything without a problem.
