Resolved What software will do a backup/restore?

    For some reason Win XP will not restore past today. I need an old restore point and believe I have other software that will do this, but don't remember what it is! Obviously no one knows what software I have so I'm looking for a list.

    I know of no other software that will pickup System Recovery Restore points.

    A more reliable method of backup/restore is to use a disk imaging program such as Acronis and schedule it to make an incremental backup on a regular basis - I do it weekly. My Data is backed up on the hour every hour.

    You can try reinstalling System Restore, but you will kose all previous restore point - my guess is that you have a corrupted restore point.

    Reinstall System Restore

    Pete, I haven't had time to do this yet. Will after an exam Thurs.
