What R Round IDE Cables ?

Hi All, This is my 1st time to send, I'm asking What R Round IDE Cables ?? I had Flat cables in my Comp. Pent.4 - 2Giga hz.
80 Giga HD. Does it speed my HD ?? THANKS

 

Welcome to the board. To see what a round cable looks like. Being round it allows more air flow. They also come in colors. If you use different colors it is easier to trace which cable is on which drive.

 

I don't know if the air flow thing is propagand or not. But they are certainly easier to work with and look better in a case with a clear side pannel.

And...you can buy UV-sensitive round IDE cables so that when you shine your case's black light on them, they glow! A must-have for every computer enthusiast!
