When my computer boots up, my Zone Alarm alerts me to something called tmon.exe that wants to access the internet. I don't know what this is, so I always click Deny. Does anybody know what this is?

    Hi Bucksone,

    Have you installed this program?

    Program Files\Ocucom\PreCast

Open the firewall interface, click Program Control, then select the Programs tab. Scroll down the list and see if you can locate tmon.exe or Ocucom. Click the entry to select it and observe the location of the file in the Entry Detail section at the bottom. Let us know what you find.

I couldn't find an entry for Ocucom but I did find tmon.exe. The entry detail was C:\Program Files\Ocucom\PreCast\tmon.exe.

It's possible that my wife signed up for some survey, but I certainly don't want something on my computer that is constantly phoning home to the mother ship!

I was able to successfully delete Ocucom through Add/Delete Programs. Thanks for the assistance.
