What is this on my desktop?

I am getting an icon of a windows logo with a ~ on it, that show up on the desktop. What the heck is that? I have just been deleting them. but they come back. Have only seen one at a time.

 

It's a backup of your address book that's been saved to the wrong location. It's due to a glitch in a Windows update. Sooner or later, Microsoft will include the fix in a new update. In the meantime, just delete it every time it appears.
