Hi folks. I cleaned the mubutu.A worm off of my computer using a utility. Now I get a message say that the rbtn32d10.dll module cannot be found. I went into msconfig and found an entry for this dll in the startup. So, I unchecked it and the message at boot up went away. My question is, what does this dll do? Is it part of windows or something else? I searched for it on google and yahoo and it returned no results.

It's either part of the virus or some other program you've installed. You can search your drive for the file and open it with notepad. "Might" be able to see something that tells you who it belongs to.

    rbtn32d10.dll

I searched my computer and it did not find any file by that name. However, there was a file named rbtn32d10.dat in c:\windows. It was a small file that showed the following text when I loaded it up in notepad

    ²Å¾Å’‹š¼â€”–š™*Š“¥¿â€œÅ¾â€˜Å¡â€¹Å¾â€¹â€¹â€œÅ¡â„¢â€“š“›Ñœ’ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿþÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ

Since the pc is running ok, can't say that I'd worry about anything. Could always try several of the on-line virus sanners to be on the safe side.

I've searched several dll libraries and this file does not appear:
    rbtn32d10.dll
Are you sure you have the name correct?
If it is correct it is probably from a virus and you should run NAV or something equivalent. Also check for adware. Let us know what happens if your computer is still running :)
