What is iexplorer.exe download

    I have a pc that a message keeps popping up asking if i want to upgrade iexplore.exe.

    does anyone know if this is a good thing to do or a hoax.

    I've googles but found tons of info where i'm now confused.

    Advise.

    iexplore.exe = Internet Explorer

    If you are on version 6, it's probably telling you abour version 7.
