what is futuremark measurement services

Can anyone tell me what is "Futuremark Measurement Services Client" and why I should keep it on my computer? It may possibly have something to do with my nvidia graphics card.

Well, Futuremark is an internet survey corporation. I'd say if you joined in with any of their surveys and agreed to let them scan your PC to see exactly what you were running that it might be a legit thing. Otherwise, probably not.

Do you have any spyware/malware removal programs? If not you really should. Ad-aware and Spybot Search & Destroy are good. Check most of the threads in the Security section (moved this thread from general discussions to security) for links.
