    Anybody know?
I ran across this little program while researching bios backup/recovery.
It seems to be related somehow to "FMUP.EXE "
I don't want to run it until I know exactly what it is, what it does.
    Thanks.

FMUP.exe is a utility (Intel) for flashing your bios. From what I can see at Intels site, it comes with the bios download. The other one is what Not_a_quitter said. Is it possible it came with the bios download also?

Well.... that's what I thought, it just gives you some beeps when you flash the bios with FMUP.EXE.....I guess since the video goes away when you do it, the beeps are needed. But I wasn't sure....Mr. goooogle didn't help me last night, or maybe I was in too much of a rush.
The reason I asked is I can't find a bios upgrade, or a copy of the bios I have, for an old rig I'm working on, and I needed FMUP just to make myself a backup..... "calamity recovery program ". FMUP and related files are needed to copy what I have and assemble my recovery program.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find a download source for FMUP alone...(it's obsolete), so I had to search for ANY bios upgrade that included FMUP, and disassemble the utility just for parts. Most bios utilities these days might mention FMUP in the description or readme file, but in reality, they use the Iflash or some other newer program.
I don't know enough to write my own program, but I do know enough to assemble a custom utility with programs borrowed from other utilities modified to work on a particular system.
Thanks for the replies. And if you guys think of anything else that might be helpful in my 'project', please let me know....I really appreciate it.
