What is DAO? How to remove it?

To reinstall ATI software I was instructed to remove all ATI software (Control Panel - Add/Remove) then to remove DAO too. What is DAO?
In clicking on the button "Change/Remove" the process starts but soon stops with a message: "Error: -3 Patch Package" so I am unable to remove it. Now I am stopped cold.
Please advise. Thank you

 

I don't know what it is for sure. Maybe this? Do you have an entry in add>remove programs named DAO?

 

I think there is a program called "Disk At Once" or that feature is part of some other program such a your burner software so look for that also.

As for DAO looks like it means Data Acces object.
