What is CUE file?

    I have downloaded zipped mp3 file. There are also small .CUE file. What is CUE file?

    CUE file is a text file that contains track information of one specific MP3, such as the title, performer, time position of each track, i.e., its an index file for the BIN (or .iso) file. Use notepad to read it.

    should this .cue file also be written in CDrom tohether with mp3, for correct display of album in media player?

    That's my understanding; I don't burn music CDs, but here's an example.
