I have been using quicklaunch in Windows 7 for some months now. I have learnt after some disbelief that it is not longer available since loosing it sometime this morning.
Last night when I shutdown my Windows 7 laptop it wss still available and workinhg and this morning on powering up this morning it had disappeared along with all my quicklaunch icons.
What is the story here??

Hello elusive,
Look for it here:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/888-quick-launch-enable-disable.html

Check the path given in the link above,
and see if your icon shortcuts are still in it. Create either, new pinned item or toolbar. The choice is yours.

While I don't think it will be available on a right click of taskbar, listed as a toolbar, check for this also. If so an option "check mark" to show should do it. If not and the toolbar is your preference, instructions for that are also included in link.
