Anyone with Vista installed in a Windows dual/multiboot set up using its own bootmanager, could you tell me what drive letter your Vista assigned to itself? The letter showing from inside Vista. Thanks.

Oh, and what version of Windows are you dual/multibooting with? That is what Windows OS is on the System partition, the one where the Vista boot files are located?

And something else - how did you install, by booting the computer from the DVD, or from within WIndows.

    Cheers my dears.

Thanks guys, I’m just trying to confirm what my own tests are showing me, that Vista will always assign itself as the C drive, even when using the Windows dual/multiboot method. That’s a major improvement over the old scheme where XP could end up with almost any letter. If anyone has seen a Vista with anything other than C please let me know.
