What does this cmd mean and do? Unfortunately, I can't remember, and I know I invoked it on my system. I'm asking because my Application Log is getting A LOT of RED DiskPerf errors. I was told it would improve disk performance, but not sure exactly how; and I have no idea what the "-n" parameter means.

    Thanks,

    George

    Hi Gplea

This is disk performance monitoring! You can trun off this service! It has no direct effect on performance, but info reported can indicate problems that need correcting!

This should only be used so that disk performance shows up in performace monitoring. Turn it off when finished testing because it has a general CPU load!

    See:

Smile this should be enough info for you!
