What do people use when it comes to downloading music??

    I was just wondering what the best site is. I use limewire but it's so full of viruses. I was hoping to find something better.

    My kids use Limewire.
    I uninstall it from their comps regularly, they reinstall it.
    I'll keep doing that until the youngest is 18, at which point she becomes legally liable in the eyes of the RIAA or until she realizes that illegal downloading of music is something that she sould not do, whichever comes first. I don't force my kids to adhere to moral codes, I only encourage them to make the right choices. So far so good. Music downloading is the hardest battle for me as a parent...

    i use walmart. i refill a gift card (one that is on file with them) and i go to town with their music. its not free,but at 48 or 88 cents its good and its safe.

    long time ago i used winmx and to be honest i miss them, never got any nasties from them. but that was long ago.

    oh tony a lot of artists have sites on my space with their music playing and there is a download thingie on most or all of the ones i have as "friends" plus some new talent you might tell the kids about it,i havent downloaded anything from anyone but my grand daughter tells me it doesnt cost
