    Not to sound totally loopy, but if I have an antivirus program, do I need Spyware, Adware etc.? (My IP includes pop-up catchers)

    Ad/Spyware removers are becoming more of a need than a want, if you have browsed around on here and have seen problems people are having. I recommend Spywareblaster and IE-spyads for preventive measures.
    Believe me, these things are getting harder to remove, and have crossed the line into being defined as a virus, as some replicate themselves on your system, and hide their startups.
