    Welcome to WindowsBBS.com!

    I started a forum to answer questions that users had about Windows in the late '90s ('98 or '99).

    I got the current domain name at the end of 2001, and WindowsBBS.com has been operating since January 2002.

    I think I have put together a good team of Moderators & Team Members. Together we try to maintain a friendly atmosphere where all users - be it a beginner or IT-Pro - feels comfortable asking a question.

    I remember...it was 1998, because I got my first computer in Oct 98 and came here to learn, then I joined in mid 1999. (It was called windows-help.net I believe) Then the site got hacked and we lost all the data and started over again. But it was running in 1998.

    OK, a little more about me ;)

    42 years of age, born in The Netherlands (although I prefer Holland), where I lived some 20+ years. Also lived 6 years in Germany (about 70 km West of Hanover) and have been living nearly 14 years in Malta now.

    I got 'infected' by computers back in Germany in 1988/1989. I learned everything myself what there was to know. Played with every Windows version since 3.1.

    Last year I decided to 'get some papers', and took an MCSA course, also got my MCDST in the process. Was fun & I learned a little more.

    I have been a Microsoft MVP since October 2003 in recognition of the service I provide here on WindowsBBS.com and also on HelpWithWindows.com and WindowsNewsletter.com

    I must say that WindowsBBS.com has always been 'close to my heart'... I like to help out other people, and I love our community here :D
